“Gucci Gang” rapper Lil Pump was arrested in Florida when he was pulled over while driving his Rolls-Royce with the incorrect license plates.

The 18-year-old rapper, whose real name is Gazzy Garcia, was pulled over while driving his Rolls-Royce through Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood Wednesday afternoon and was taken into custody by police.

The police noticed that the license plate on his Rolls-Royce actually belonged to a Mini Cooper, a spokesperson for the Miami Police Department confirmed.

The 18-year-old “Gucci Gang” rapper also told police that he did not have a driver’s license. The rapper was being held on $500 bond at Miami-Dade County’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. More »

Ford announced that it would launch a service to test self-driving food delivery in Miami. Earlier this year, Ford Motor signed up a partnership with a delivery startup Postmates, based in San Francisco to test the capacity of their self-driving vans. Ford is planning to test its self-driving vehicles on the streets of downtown Miami and Miami Beach.

The Michigan-based automaker has started a pilot program that includes delivery service, testing self-driving cars around the city and setting up a fleet-management center.

The company’s commercial plans for robot cars include ride-hailing and deliveries, the automaker announced a few days ago. The tests will find out what works for both customers and companies. In addition, the company needs to figure out how to run an armada of autonomous cars which means to focus on maintaining and operating a whole fleet of robot delivery cars. That is why the Detroit automaker is going to build its first operations terminal in Miami.

A superstar tandem has opened a new Miami restaurant last Monday night.

Spanish superstar Enrique Iglesias and tennis legend Rafael Nadal have joined hands to bring an iconic eatery to South Florida. They have opened the new Tatel Miami at the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, along Collins Avenue, near Lincoln Road. The famous duo’s restaurant is just the second location for TATEL, and the first in the U.S.

The singing star Enrique Iglesias who calls Miami home said he was “proud” to bring Tatel to Miami and happy to finally have a taste of his homeland there. He added he had missed the Spanish food since he was a little kid. The son of Latin crooner Julio Iglesias added he hopes Tatel will become a place where people would have fun and most importantly they are going to “have good Spanish food.” More »

American.airlines.b777.arpAmerican Airlines computer systems were restored and the ground stop has been lifted Thursday after earlier “technical issues” at several airports across the country, the airline said.

American Airlines flights to and from Chicago, Dallas and Miami have been temporarily grounded because of an apparent glitch in one of the carrier’s computer systems and that prevented passengers from checking in. The computer systems were fixed after less than two hours. More »
