Florida Man Stole, Crashed and Abandoned $1M Yacht

A Florida man stole a yacht worth nearly $1 million dollars, and then quickly abandoned it after crashing into some pilings, according to deputies.

Donovan Russell Jester, 28-year-old, stole the 46-foot 2019 Jeanneau Leader with a value of $899,179 from a dock in St. Petersburg, Florida, then left it after accidentally ramming into channel-marker pilings, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said. According to an arrest report, Jester evaded police for three months before being arrested last week.

While we may think private browsing is a safe haven from watchful eyes, computer security researchers have long raised concerns that Google and other search engines might augment user profiles by tracking people’s identities across different browsing modes, collecting data from private and ordinary internet surfing.

A $5 billion class-action lawsuit filed in a San Jose, California federal court alleges that Google illegally invades the privacy of millions of users’ by ‘tracking their internet use through incognito mode’.
